After decades in the insurance industry, we shifted our focus in 2013 to specialize in Medicare, realizing the unique challenges and opportunities this area presents. Harlan & Associates LLC was founded by Donna Harlan and Janie Sanders in 2023 to address the growing need for guidance in the senior market, specifically within Medicare.
Our mission is simple: to assist individuals as they transition into Medicare, providing expert advice and support for understanding the choices available. We understand that the decisions made at this stage of life can have a lasting impact on financial well-being, and we’re here to make sure you are informed and confident in those decisions.
Our company is licensed in Missouri & Kansas, with a team of certified agents ready to help with Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, and more. Our carriers Aetna, Anthem, Wellcare, Humana, United Healthcare Devoted and Essence, as well as Allstate.

We offer a variety of health and dental insurance plans tailored to seniors. These plans are designed to help cover gaps in Medicare or provide additional benefits such as dental and vision care. Additionally, we help people currently on Medicare & Supplements with changing policies.

Life Insurance & Long-Term Care

We specialize in helping seniors with life insurance (including final expense policies) and long-term care insurance. These products are essential to ensure that you and your family are protected from the high costs of extended care and other unexpected expenses.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently, we represent 7 organizations which offer products in your area. We are certified with a variety of major carriers and can offer hospital indemnity plans, final expense policies, and more. We offer Aetna, Anthem, Wellcare, Humana, United Healthcare Devoted and Essence, as well as Allstate.
